How does it work?
With this 36 min emotional inquiry exercise you will be asked to visualize a situation from the past week(s) where you felt triggered, discomfort, stress, resistance, strong emotions, blockages or any other feeling, struggle or theme that you would like to address.
From this situation you will take a deep dive into your body and connect with the suppressed emotions that were triggered in the situation where you experienced suffering. You will then be asked to feel these emotions and the accompanying sensations in your body, and to connect with them, listen to them, express them and integrate them.
You can do this exercise as often as you would like to explore all kinds of situations and struggles in your daily life so that you can help yourself heal, grow and transform yourself and your life.
Note: There’s no right or wrong when doing an emotional inquiry exercise, so when being asked to visualize, feel or describe something, just work with what comes up first. If it doesn’t feel comfortable during the exercise, know that you can always stop the exercise by simply opening your eyes.

Hi, I’m Myrthe glasbergen, founder of Beyond Psychology, and an Occupational Health Psychologist (MSc.), life- & job coach, intuitive singer, writer and creator who is fascinated about the awakening and healing of humanity.
As a young child I already saw society for what it truly was: dysfunctional, discriminative, oppressive, patriarchal, hierarchical, competitive, fear-based, (mind-)controlling, individualistic, focused solely on personal gain, and unfortunately especially suitable for white straight men.
Living in a society like this has made us believe we are small, helpless, incomplete, broken, worthless and powerless individuals, separated from each other, who have to run and fight for their lives.
Because of this we have been living in survival mode and in competition with each other for way too long.
At the same time, as a child, we are not being taught how to express and regulate our emotions, feelings, boundaries, desires and authentic self properly and in a healthy way. In fact, we are (mostly unconsciously) shamed, rejected, ignored, overlooked, ridiculed or even punished for showing vulnerability or expressing our emotions, desires, boundaries and our deepest truth(s).
This has blocked us from truly LIVING and it has made us stressed, anxious, burnt-out, depressed and traumatized because of that.
Not a good recipe for success.
I have made it my mission now to help people to wake up and become aware of the dysfunctional and demanding society and family/culture systems they grew up in, and to help people heal and break free from it.
So that they will become authentic, free and empowered human beings who make the world a better place.
I do this by providing holistic psychological guidance and sharing my knowledge and healing tools on social media and on HeArt Journey: my online sacred space, community, and platform for self-discovery, healing, transformation, and growth.
