Marlene Castaños
Psychologist, Transpersonal Therapist, Yogini & Tantric Practitioner
Marlene Castaños is a psychologist, transpersonal therapist, and spiritual guide for those who sense there is more to who they are than the life they’ve been living.
Her work weaves together over twenty-five years of deep spiritual practice and psychological training rooted in the non-dual Tantric traditions of Vajrayana, Shri Vidya, and Trika Shaivism, combined with body-centered transpersonal therapy and the shamanic wisdom of her Mexican roots. She doesn’t work with concepts. She works with what is real, embodied, and alive in a person.
Marlene specializes in themes like authenticity, purpose, identity, and the disconnection that happens when we’ve spent too long being who we think we’re supposed to be. Her approach integrates psychology, spirituality, and embodiment. Not as separate paths, but as one returning movement toward the self that was always there.
She sees herself as a practitioner, not a guru. What she shares has come through decades of lived experience, initiation, and genuine inquiry, not borrowed wisdom. Her sessions are known for being grounded, direct, and deeply attuned: creating the conditions for people to stop performing and start recognizing themselves again.
As a filmmaker and founder of Divine Spark Films, Marlene brings a rare dimension to her work. Using storytelling and creative expression as a form of collective awakening. She understands that healing isn’t only personal. It ripples.
Through individual sessions, workshops, retreats, and her work as a contributor to Beyond Psychology, Marlene offers a space for people who are ready to stop searching outward, and remember what they already carry within.
