Anger
A guided somatic session for anger release
Anger is not the problem you were taught it was. It is a signal: a boundary that was crossed, a need that went unmet, something that mattered to you and was not protected. When that signal gets swallowed instead of heard, it does not disappear. It moves inward, into shame or numbness, or it builds until it escapes sideways, in ways that cost more than the anger itself ever would have.
This 30-minute guided somatic session helps you safely release that anger from your body, and finally hear what it has been trying to tell you. The same work I do in sessions, available whenever you need it.

You likely learned early, and often, that anger was dangerous, unacceptable, or simply not yours to have.
So you found ways to manage it: swallowing it until it turned into something else, or holding it until it broke through in ways you didn’t intend. Whether you bottle it, fear it, or act it out, the underlying pattern is the same: anger was never given a safe place to move.
The anger you carry now, the kind that flares too fast or sits frozen in your body, often has little to do with what is in front of you, and everything to do with what was never allowed to move at the time it first formed.
What this session does
This is a full somatic session, body-based and trauma-informed, following the same arc I use with clients in my practice as a psychologist. In 30 minutes, you move into where anger lives in your body, without judgment and without fear of it. You safely release what has been stored there, listening for what it protects and what need it is pointing to underneath. As that energy releases and integrates, your nervous system has room to return to balance, and the strength underneath the anger becomes something you can actually use, in your boundaries, and in your trust in yourself.
Every time you need it.
Why somatic work matters here
Anger does not live in your thoughts about it. It lives in clenched jaws, tight shoulders, a chest that never fully exhales. You can understand intellectually that your anger is valid and still not know what to do with the charge in your body when it rises. What changes that is not more understanding, but direct, felt release: actually letting the stored energy move, instead of managing it from a distance. That is what this session makes possible.
A note before you begin
If you recognized the anger you have been managing instead of feeling, whether by holding it in, fearing it, or letting it out sideways, that recognition is enough. You do not need to be in control of it before you begin, and you do not need to be afraid of what might come up. You only need to be willing to let it move.
That is what Anger is for.

Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down, press play, and follow the audio. Headphones aren't required, but they help you stay with it.
No. You don't need the right words, or a clear memory, or a story ready to tell. This works directly with the body, not with what you can already explain.
Yes. Most people return to it more than once, especially when the pattern it works with gets activated again. It's yours to keep.
No. It's a practical tool drawn from the same somatic approach used in clinical work, meant to use on your own or alongside therapy, not instead of it when ongoing support is needed.

One session. Repeatable. Available the moment you need it — which is often not when you planned it.

I just did the anger practice, and it’s the one I loved the most. My anger is a lion made of fire, the protector of a shiny, beautiful, real me. She begged me to let her out of the cage and let her roar. She told me her roar would scare off the people who don’t like or accept me, and keep close the ones who truly value me. It was so beautiful. When I released it and watched it roar, I felt an electric current in my feet like nothing before. After the practice I feel my pelvis more, I feel my feet more, I feel fired up and happy. Even my lungs feel like they’ve expanded.

The tool is so helpful, stepping into all the suppressed emotions from childhood together with my inner child and to be held. Freeing both of us. Noticing that anger, a scary emotion, is actually the most important thing to go towards, instead of running away from it. I feel it now as a warm support in my lower back. This is a very important step that I made.

I want to thank you. Today I expressed anger in a way I hardly ever do. It was just a loud response to a very usual bully attitude. I was surprised of myself and on purpose I let myself repeat louder. The person was confused but I didn’t explain. This is after a few days of doing an emotional inquiry exercise. While I usually freeze and am not able to respond.
