What this practice does

Anger is not a problem to get rid of. It is often a signal of unprocessed pain, violated boundaries, or unmet needs. When anger is suppressed, it can turn inward into shame or numbness, or outward into explosive or destructive behavior. This anger release exercise helps you safely access anger in your body, allow it to move, and understand the message it carries.

How it works

Through guided somatic awareness, you are invited to feel anger in your body without judgment or fear. The exercise supports you in releasing stored anger safely, listening to what it protects, and understanding the needs underneath it. As anger is processed and integrated, your nervous system can return to neutrality and regulation.

What is a somatic exercise

A somatic exercise uses the body as an entrance to the subconscious. Instead of analyzing anger from the mind, you work directly with sensation, emotion, and energy as they are stored in the body. This allows anger to be released and integrated at its root, rather than controlled or suppressed.

How to use this exercise

Find a quiet place where you feel safe and will not be disturbed. Sit or lie down comfortably, press play, and follow the guided audio. You can pause whenever you need more time to feel or regulate.
