When an emotion was not safe to feel at the time it formed, the body found a way to hold it.
Not to get rid of it, but to contain it, to keep it somewhere beneath the surface where it would not overwhelm you or cost you something you could not afford to lose. That was intelligent. And it is still happening now, in the resistance, the disconnection, the weight that does not have a clear name.
Those emotions did not go anywhere. They are still there, in sensation, in the body’s quiet signals, waiting for enough safety to finally move.
What this session does
This is a full somatic session, body-based and trauma-informed, following the same arc I use with clients in my practice as a psychologist. In 30 minutes, you are guided to tune into your body and listen to what it is holding. You identify suppressed emotions through sensation rather than thought, trace them back to the experiences that shaped them, and gently feel and integrate what has been stored there. The process does not force or overwhelm. It simply creates enough space for what has been held to finally move.

Why somatic work matters here
Suppressed emotions do not live in your thoughts about them. They live in the body, in the tension, the numbness, the places where something is held but not named. Understanding that you have suppressed emotions does not release them, because they were never stored in understanding. What releases them is the felt experience of being with them, safely, with enough presence for them to finally complete. That is what this session makes possible.
