What this practice does

Fear of failure often runs in the background of daily life, shaping decisions, behavior, results, and even relationships. It may stop you from starting, finishing, or fully committing to what matters to you. This trauma informed somatic exercise helps you investigate where this fear comes from, why it feels so threatening, and what failure has come to mean in your system.

By connecting with the part of you that carries this fear, you begin to heal and integrate the emotional root beneath it.

How it works

Through guided somatic awareness, you are invited to notice how fear of failure shows up in your body and inner world. You will explore the emotions and beliefs driving it, trace them back to earlier experiences, and connect with the younger part of you that learned failure was unsafe. As suppressed emotions are felt and integrated, the fear can soften and release.

What is a somatic exercise

A somatic exercise uses the body as an entrance to the subconscious. Instead of trying to think your way out of fear, you work directly with sensation, emotion, and memory as they are stored in the body. This allows fear of failure to be addressed at its root, rather than managed through willpower.
